The Vision
Our Philosophy

School Bloc Marketing's founders recognized that advertisers are constantly trying to reach youth in a long-lasting and positive way, while public schools are in a nationwide funding crisis. The solution seemed obvious, of course: give companies a way to officially sponsor education.

While simple in concept, this model is quite revolutionary. In the past, students have had to rely on local community sponsorships to support many of their extra-curricular programs, such as newspapers, yearbooks, and sports teams. Their schools were too small and fragmented to attract anyone else - and when local funds were not enough, many of these programs disappeared.

Meanwhile, advertisers often resorted to unsanctioned or ineffective means at reaching students on a large scale. From free textbook covers to printed milk cartons, companies have tried a gamut of solutions. However, without official school support, these methods are difficult to implement, hard to track for effectiveness, and often looked down upon by the community. Schools receive no benefit from this advertising, even when they are providing the audience!

School Bloc Marketing puts all these pieces together. Now, schools can receive support from larger sponsors to help maintain their programs. Companies have an official conduit for obtaining an in-school presence - in a way that the community will support.
